At Far East Gems & Jewellery, we provide all sorts of jewellery repair services.
We have done the following jobs previously.
1. Changing of ring sizes for engagement rings/wedding bands.
2. Mending broken links of necklaces / bracelets.
3. Re-setting diamonds which have dropped out due to wear & tear.
4. Thickening of ring band (e.g. repair a ring that was worn for more than 30yrs, the band was so thin that it broke into 2, we re-made a new band and fixed it onto the ring)
5. Shortening bracelets / necklaces.
6. Replating of jewellery (e.g. adding a new layer of plating for jewellery to restore it to its sparkling appearance)
7. Source for similar diamond/gemstone/jade to replace cracked gemstone (e.g. once we helpd a client to replace her center stone, as her ring was caught in a fire and the previous stone cracked and broke into 2, we also restored most of her burnt jewellery to their orignal condition)
