Gemstones come in a myriad of colours, there would be a stone for every occasion. Some might just think about Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds, Blue Topaz, Quartz or Aquamarines. But there are actually so many more gemstones that you could use!

Here at Far East Gems & Jewellery, we spend time to understand our clients’ needs and wants. Different gemstones perform dfferently at different times of the day. For example, “Neon” coloured gemstones like Mandarin Garnet and Paraiba Tourmaline looks best in the night. Their colour becomes more intense and they seem to “glow” in the dark! Or you might want to have a gemstone to challenge your diamond wearing friends! Try Zircons, scientically called Zircon Sillicate (not to be mistaken with Cubic Zirconia), they come in a many colours ranging from colourless to sky blue to yellow to orange and many more! They glitter almost like diamonds but have better value when you compare the per carat price to diamonds! On the hind side, Zircons are brittle when compare to diamonds though, so you would have to be careful when wearing them as a ring.

Another thing that excites me about gemstones… Just imagine a 100 carat star ruby as a pendant or a 500 carat Aquamarine as a belt buckle.

Do you like special effects? How about having a gemstone that changes colour at different times of the day? Or having a blue sheen effect (moonstone)? Want to have asian flavour? (Jade). Wedding bands are a symbol of a couple’s wedding vows & is gift they give each other as they enter into holy matrimony. We provide a few options to cater to each individual couple.

1. Customized designed wedding bands
Our jewellery consultant would spend some time with each couple, to know their love story, understand what their marriage means to them and finally suggest wedding band ideas that suit the couple. Some couples choose bands that are just 18k gold, other couples choose to use many diamonds while some use gemstones. When the couples wear their weddings bands, the memory of the journey they took together to come up with their personalized bands is priceless.

2. Ready-made wedding bands
We have a collection of wedding bands where you can cash and carry! If the ring size doesn’t fit, we can change it (if its a solid gold piece) within 1-2days.
